Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His work has led to major international breakthroughs into the Latin pop scene. In the year 2017 the song he released in 2016 Una Lady Como Tu won the Colombian Kids Choice Award Favorite Song. He released ADN The First Long-Player with La Industria Inc. in Medellin. It reached the top 8 spot according to the Top Latin Albums Chart. Following that year, he collaborated with Ozuna on their Top Five smash Vaina Loca. He collaborated alongside Noriel in the song Mala Influencia in the year 2020. He in the year following, he released his sophomore album which was the charting Dopamina. He appeared in 2021 in a duo with TINI on her cult stream single Maldita Foto. The year 2023 was when the smash hit La Bachata was released. Turizo's parents and brothers were musicians when the time he was born. In his interviews, he's described participating in music as compulsory. He was taught how to play the saxophone, guitar, piano, and ukulele as when he was a child. Although his first career choice was to be a vet, his brother Julian encouraged him to take singing lessons from an instructor in Cuban.
